Introduction

Clink ("we," "our," or "us") operates the Clink mobile application (the "App"). Clink helps users manage wedding and event guest lists, RSVP tracking, floor plans, seating arrangements, reports, exports, and optional cloud collaboration.

This Privacy Policy explains what information is collected, how it is used, and the choices you have when using the App.

Information We Collect

Information You Provide

Event information: event name, type, date, time, venue name, venue address, floor plan, tables, fixtures, and project settings.
Guest information: guest names, phone numbers, email addresses, RSVP status, groups, notes, dietary notes, plus-one details, language preferences, and seating constraints.
Relationship rules: must-sit-together and must-not-sit-together preferences used for seating optimization.
Messages and templates: invitation or reminder text you create for sending through your device's messaging apps.
Imported files: CSV files and selected contacts used to add guests.

Information Collected Automatically

Anonymous user identifier: Firebase Anonymous Authentication creates a user ID for cloud sync and collaboration.
Subscription status: RevenueCat provides purchase, entitlement, and restore status for Clink Pro.
Advertising data: Google AdMob may collect device identifiers, ad interaction data, and diagnostic information for free users.
Device and app data: app version, platform, language, and basic technical data needed to operate the App and third-party SDKs.

Contacts

Clink may request access to your contacts so you can quickly add people to an event. Contact access is optional. Clink reads selected names and phone numbers for guest import. Contact data is not uploaded unless you choose to add those people as guests and then use cloud sync or RSVP features.

Third-Party Services

Firebase

Clink uses Firebase Authentication and Cloud Firestore for anonymous authentication, cloud sync, collaboration, RSVP links, and RSVP web responses. Firestore data may include event data, guest records, RSVP status, public RSVP display names, invite codes, and collaboration metadata.

RevenueCat

Clink uses RevenueCat to manage in-app purchases, subscriptions, entitlement status, paywalls, and restore purchases. RevenueCat receives purchase-related identifiers and subscription status. We do not receive your payment card details.

Google AdMob

Free users may see banner, interstitial, or rewarded ads served by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect device advertising identifiers, ad impressions, clicks, and device information. Pro users do not see ads.

Apple App Store / Google Play

Purchases are processed by Apple or Google. We do not collect or store payment card numbers, billing addresses, or payment credentials.

Data Storage and Retention

Local event data and preferences remain on your device until you delete them, clear app data, or uninstall the App.
Cloud-synced event and guest data remains in Firebase until you delete the event, remove the project, or request deletion.
RSVP tokens are designed for temporary guest responses and may expire.
Ad and purchase data are retained by Google, Apple, Google Play, and RevenueCat according to their policies.

Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. Data may be shared only as needed to provide the App:

With event collaborators you invite through Clink's collaboration features.
With RSVP guests when you send them a public RSVP link that displays the event and guest name.
With Firebase, RevenueCat, Google AdMob, Apple, and Google Play as described above.
When required by law or to protect the App, users, or our rights.

Your Choices and Rights

You can use Clink without granting contacts access.
You can delete local event data inside the App or by removing the App.
You can opt out of personalized ads through your device settings.
You can request access, correction, or deletion by contacting us.

Children's Privacy

Clink is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date.
